State Of Origin Teams 2012 – Game 2

June 13th, 2012

The much anticipated second state of origin game is finally here and it stands as a do or die clash for NSW who must stand up or risk losing a seventh straight series.

There have been limited changes to both teams for what is set to be an explosive clash with the Maroons forced in to one alteration to their all-conquering lineup following an injury to star forward Sam Thaiday.

Exciting forward Dave Taylor moves from the bench into the starting side while the experienced Corey Parker will fill the vacated bench spot.

The absence of Thaiday presents a big loss for Queensland but Parker is an able replacement, having made his origin debut in 2004 and he was a member of the team that took out a sixth consecutive series last season.

New South Wales have included young Penrith prop Tim Grant to make his debut while injured Manly star Tony Williams has been replaced by teammate Anthony Watmough on the bench.

It is set to be a brutal encounter and if you think you have a winner picked, head to bookmaker.com.au to get the best value state of origin odds.
